Filmed during the historic 2018 midterm election cycle, this documentary follows various political organizers and candidates — all women of color, including Rashida Tlaib and Stacey Abrams — who are fighting to have a more inclusive and reflective government. "I was excited to participate because I believe that we have to evolve and expand what the face of leadership looks like in our country. And She Could Be Next is a pretty critical part of that conversation," Abrams tells EW. "It was a delight to be able to share not only what happened, but the work that goes into being part of the representation of America.
