Back in August, Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion dropped her highly-anticipated single “Hot Girl Summer,” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign. Now, Meg has shared the song’s accompanying music video, which finds the trio partying by a pool. The visual is directed by Munachi Osegbu and has cameos from Rico Nasty, La La Anthony, Ari Lennox, Summer Walker, and others. Watch it below.
Before “Hot Girl Summer” was a song, it was a state of mind. Megan Thee Stallion spent the last year wielding the phrase as an ode to female empowerment and body positivity. Eventually, Meg’s slogan blew up into a viral meme. She also performed “Hot Girl Summer” at the VMAs.
