RuPaul's Drag Race: Watch Lisa Kudrow channel Valerie Cherish

Lisa Kudrow on RuPaul’s Drag Race? The season 9 queens definitely want to see that — and EW has an exclusive clip to prove it.

This Friday, the comedy great makes an appearance on VH1’s long-running reality competition series, and brings an ace revival of her beloved Comeback character — adorably delusional sitcom actress Valerie Cherish — with her.

“Lisa, would you mind saying that one thing that you say for me, please?” RuPaul asks of his showbiz pal. The request prompts Kudrow to reenact of one of The Comeback‘s most iconic scenes, which sees Cherish gushing about landing a coveted role on a new TV program as she repeatedly exclaims, “Well, I got it!” with increasing intensity. On that note, the queens let her know she’s being heard, responding to the bit with uproarious laughter.

While this might be Kudrow’s first appearance on Drag Race, she’s worked with RuPaul before. The Emmy-winning host played himself (out of drag) on The Comeback‘s season 2 opener in 2014, meeting Cherish for the first time while lunching with Bravo’s Andy Cohen.

Earlier in March, EW exclusively revealed Kudrow’s planned spot on Drag Race. She joined the season 9 roster alongside guest judges Cheyenne Jackson, Meghan Trainor, Kesha, The B-52s, Naya Rivera, Andie MacDowell, Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth, Denis O’Hare, Noah Galvin, Todrick Hall, Tamar Braxton, Lisa Robertson, Joan Smalls, Candis Cayne, Fortune Feimster, and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman.

For its March 24 premiere, Drag Race made the jump from Logo to VH1, where it will air new weekly episodes for the first time since its 2009 launch. The season 9 premiere drew nearly 1 million viewers, setting a series record as it doubled season 8’s debut viewership.

Watch Kudrow channel Cherish in the exclusive preview above. Catch the actress’ full appearance — and find out which former contestant rejoins the competition — on RuPaul’s Drag Race this Friday at 8 p.m. ET on VH1.
