How to watch Las Vegas Raiders, KC Chiefs in Week 14 plus a prediction in AFC West game

Most of the nation will get to see the Las Vegas Raiders as they visit the Kansas City Chiefs for an AFC West matchup Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 14 of the NFL season.

That includes Southern California, which usually gets one of the Los Angeles NFL teams. But because it’s an early game on CBS, those markets will get the Chiefs and Raiders, too.

The Raiders (6-6) come into the game off a dud against the Washington Football Team. The Raiders lost 17-15 at Allegiant Stadium.

The Chiefs (8-4) enter as winners of five straight, starting with a victory over the New York Giants on Nov. 1.

Game pick

We were fooled a week ago, going with the Raiders to come out on top against WFT by a predicted score of 31-20.

That proved way off, since the Raiders only scored 15 points.

Slow starts continue to be the norm for the offense all season.

Maybe the good news for the Raiders is the fact they are hitting the road, where they have had some success this season (3-2). But picking up a win at Arrowhead Stadium is no easy task, especially with Kansas City averaging about 73,000 fans per game — a crowd that likes to continually raise the decibel level and should make it tough on the Raiders’ offense.

The Raiders need a win to regain their playoff footing, but it’s never easy against the hated AFC West rival.

Whatever magic worked last season in the Raiders’ 40-32 win against the Chiefs at Arrowhead will need to be rediscovered.

Las Vegas understands it needs to start off fast, as it did against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium, where the Raiders won 36-33 in overtime.

“When you look at the success we had in Denver and Philly and Dallas, we got off to quick starts,” interim coach Rich Bisaccia said. “And really the Cincinnati game, defense gave us the ball at the 9-yard line, and we come out of there with a field goal. The ones that we’ve had a chance to win at the end, we started fast. We’ve addressed that with the players, we’ve addressed that with each other. We’re always trying to do that.”

DraftKings has the Chiefs a 9.5-point favorite, with the over/under at 48. Look for the game to cruise past the total but for Kansas City to cover the spread.

Prediction: Chiefs 34, Raiders 20
