Kanye West opened up about his mental health in a new interview. He sat down with radio personality Big Boy on the night of his outdoor album listening party in Wyoming, and explained he’d been diagnosed with “a mental condition” when he was 39 years old. Watch below.

Kanye also said he’d scrapped his new album ye months before releasing it, and explained why he eventually went with that title. “I believe ‘ye’ is the most commonly used word in the Bible, and in the Bible it means ‘you,’ so I’m you, I’m us, it’s us,” he said. “It went from Kanye, which means the only one, to being ye—just being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused, everything. The album is a reflection of who we are.”
