One of the best toe-to-toe scraps of the year belongs to a couple of goalies in a tier three junior league.

A game between the North American 3 Hockey League’s Willmar WarHawks and Granite City Lumberjacks featured a rather fine tilt with goaltenders Luke Fry and David Mulligan squaring up at the top of the circle, with the pair exchanging bomb after bomb for a good 25 seconds before eventually being separated.

After watching these heavy punches getting tossed with apparent ease, it’s evident that the restricting nature of a goalie’s chest protector is no match for the vast rush of adrenaline a good ol’ hockey fight can yield.
