The Jonas Brothers invited a very special guest to perform with them on stage during their Nashville concert on Monday night: Their dad, Kevin Jonas Sr.

In video footage from the event posted on TikTok, Nick can be heard prefacing their dad's surprise arrival by describing him to the Bridgestone Arena crowd as "somebody who literally had at least 50 percent to do with us being here tonight." He then adds, "Please welcome Kevin Jonas Sr.!"

Kevin Jr. and Joe can be seen cheering on their dad as he takes the stage before the footage cuts to another clip just as the piano introduction to the Eagles' 1973 hit "Desperado" begins to play. Nick then encourages Kevin Sr. to take the track's opening verse, saying, "Go ahead, Dad."

And, as it turns out, the Jonas Brothers aren't the only members of the family with some serious vocal talent. Kevin Sr. then proceeds to kick off a soulful rendition of one of Glenn Frey and Don Henley's most beloved tunes, with Joe joining him along the way as Kevin Jr. strums along on guitar.

This isn't the first time that the Jonas Brothers have brought their dad on stage for a little classic rock moment. They previously teamed up to perform "Desperado" during their Las Vegas residency last November.

"Kevin Jonas Sr. and our mother, Denise, opened a restaurant here in Vegas at the MGM called Nellie's Southern Kitchen. If you haven't been, you should check it out," Nick said at the time. "And on any given Friday or Saturday, Senior might get up there and sing this song. And he actually sang this at me and my wife's wedding… so we figured, why not have Senior come out and sing it for this amazing crowd here tonight?"

Come to your senses and watch Senior and his juniors perform "Desperado" in the clips above.
