Watch Jewel’s 5-Year-Old Son Sing a Sweet Song With His Musical Mommy
The apple didn’t fall far from the tree for Jewel and her 5-year-old son, Kase. On Tuesday, the Grammy winner posted a video to Instagram of her and her little boy sharing a musical moment.
The two can be seen in the clip sitting next to one another and singing sweetly as Jewel strums the guitar. “Introducing Kase’s first public performance! With me!” the songbird captioned the video. “We were at a friend’s house in Alaska and Kase decided to sing w me for our friends — I was so thrilled! The way he rocks back and forth murders me.”
But Jewel isn’t the only star singing a little ditty with her offspring. In June, Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter, Apple, 12, and son, Moses, 10, joined their dad’s band Coldplay onstage at the 2016 Glastonbury Festival in Pilton, England. In 2014, Mariah Carey shared an adorable video of her and daughter Monroe belting out Mariah’s song “Supernatural.” During an interview with Ryan Seacrest in 2013, the proud mama revealed that her little one even sang a bit on her album.
“My little girl is going to be appearing on the album, I will say that,” she said. “She can’t really put a complete sentence together — she was 2 years old when she started — but she did a good job!”
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s kids are all grown up and their 19-year-old daughter Gracie has some serious chops! In 2015, she joined her dad onstage for a heartwarming duet.
