Fans of the novel (and anyone who read the book in junior year English) will recall that the green light at the end of the dock is Gatsby's metaphor for his love for Daisy and his constant pull toward her and her extravagant lifestyle.

The music video finds Jordan and Noblezada in costume as their characters, wandering the halls of their Long Island mansions and eventually coming together on a staircase before taking to the dance floor of a ballroom together.

"If I save you, will you save me too?" they sing to each other.

Following a sold out run at the Paper Mill Playhouse last fall, The Great Gatsby begins performances on Broadway on March 29 before an official opening on April 25 at the Broadway Theatre.

Based on the book by F. Scott Fitzgerald, the Jazz Age story follows the titular Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire who has crafted his entire life to chase the girls of his dreams, Daisy Buchanan. Even if she is married to another.

The new musical features a book by Kait Kerrigan, with Paradise Square composers Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen writing the music and lyrics respectively. Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) will direct with choreography by Dominique Kelley.
