Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo, and Judy Greer reunited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal film 13 Going on 30. The actors shared the video celebration on Instagram, writing, “We are three Boomers braving zoom—because we want to thank you. To every person who has loved this movie along with us: Thank You. We see you, we appreciate you and we love you back. Forever thirty, flirty and thriving!”

In the clip, the trio recalled making the movie, which was released in 2004 and directed by Gary Winick. The actors also discussed the intensity of the film’s fandom. “There’s two kinds of people in the world,” Ruffalo said. “There’s Hulk people and there’s 13 Going on 30 people, and I get equal amounts.” He corrected himself, adding, “Way more 13 Going on 30.”

“A woman came up to me the other day on the street and told me that her and her friends do 13 Going on 30 cosplay,” Ruffalo confirmed while Garner added “I met a little baby named Jenna yesterday after the movie.” Greer noted she was surprised to learn that future Marvel Cinematic Universe star Brie Larson appeared in the film in a small role.

Later, the group attempted to recreate their famous “Thriller” dance scene over Zoom. “Thank you, everyone,” Ruffalo said. “You’ve been the best fans of this movie that anyone can possibly have.”

Ruffalo and Garner reunited onscreen in 2022 in The Adam Project. The pair performed their “Thriller” dance earlier this year at Ruffalo’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony after Garner gave a speech honoring her work with him.

13 Going on 30 boasts several notable fans, including Ariana Grande. In 2018, Grande paid tribute to the film in her music video for “Thank U, Next,” directed by Hannah Lux Davis and starring Troye Sivan and Liz Gillies.
