Filming James Cameron’s True Lies.
This week True Lies, along with several other James Cameron films, is being released on 4K for the first time. Unlike Titanic, Aliens, and Avatar though, True Lies (like The Abyss) hasn’t been on physical media since DVD. It literally got remade on TV before getting a proper, high-definition release.
But, finally, that release is here and it’ll not only allow fans to watch the excellent, hilarious Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis film in the best version yet, it’ll give them a chance to peak behind the scenes with some new special features. The biggest one is a documentary called “Fear Is Not an Option: A Look Back at True Lies” and io9 has an exclusive clip. It’s Cameron breaking down how he shot scenes with the actual Harrier jet at the end of the film. Check it out.
