A new horror trailer dropped today for Antlers, a terrifying looking film produced by Guillermo del Toro. The official synopsis is vague, but super creepy.
A small-town Oregon teacher and her brother, the local sheriff, become entwined with a young student harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences.
A Great Cast And Director
Starring Keri Russell as the teacher and Jesse Plemons as her brother, Antlers has some real talent onscreen. The film also has some major creativity behind the scenes as well (the aforementioned del Toro), boasting director Scott Cooper, whose previous credits include Crazy Heart, Hostiles, and Black Mass.
The Horror Renaissance Continues
Horror films have been undergoing a real renaissance lately, and if this first trailer is any indication, Antlers is going to continue that trajectory.
