Halloween Ends” is upon us. The final film in the new “Halloween” trilogy is here, just a few short years after Jamie Lee Curtis returned to her iconic role of Laurie Strode for a new twist on the Michael Myers franchise – one in which the masked killer is not Laurie’s brother, but instead a strange madman who’s haunted her all these years.

David Gordon Green returns to direct the third film in the trilogy after kicking things off with 2018’s “Halloween” and continuing the series with 2021’s “Halloween Kills.” But where can you witness this concluding chapter? Do you have to go to a theater, or is it streaming? And is this really the last “Halloween” movie?

All your questions answered below.

When Does “Halloween Ends” Come Out?

The film opens October 14.

Is “Halloween Ends” Streaming or in Theaters?

Both! The film will be playing in theaters but also streaming on Peacock the same day it opens. That means right now, you can either choose to go see “Halloween Ends” in a theater, or stay home and watch it on Peacock with a subscription.

Peacock Premium is $4.99 a month and comes with ads, while Peacock Plus is $9.99 a month and has no ads.

This is the same release strategy Universal used for “Halloween Kills.”

Who Is in the “Halloween Ends” Cast?

Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode, and Andi Matichak is back as her granddaughter Allyson. Rohan Campbell plays a key new character, while Will Patton returns as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards is back as Lindsey Wallace and James Jude Courtney returns as The Shape.

What Is “Halloween Ends” About?

Set four years after the events of “Halloween Kills,” Laurie Strode is now living with her granddaughter and writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since the events of “Halloween Kills,” but when a young man is accused of killing a boy he was baby-sitting, “it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control once and for all.”
