Leaving behind their animated counterparts for a live TV performance

Gorillaz made an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” last night, playing “Let Me Out” from Humanz, which is out today. Damon Albarn, Seye Adelekan, Jesse Hackett, Mike Smith, Karl Vanden Bossche, Gabriel Wallace, Jeff Wooton performed alongside special guest Pusha T, while Mavis Staples sang the chorus via video. Watch it all go down below. Gorillaz recently conducted their first ever live, animated interview leading up to the release of the new album. They’re set to launch a North American tour this summer, along with the inaugural edition of their new festival, Demon Dayz.
