The Golden Bachelor wedding special will be officiated by fellow Golden Bachelor cast member Susan Noles, who may not have won Turner’s heart but certainly won over the fans.
Turner and Nist got engaged during the finale of The Golden Bachelor, which aired in December (the show was taped months earlier, allowing the two plenty of time to plan their television nuptials). Turner chose Nist over fellow contestant and finalist, Leslie Fhima, getting down on one knee to propose to Nist in Costa Rica.
While it’s not clear if Fhima will be attending the wedding, the couple has said that their guest list includes other contestants from the reality show, along with their family members and close friends. Golden Bachelor host Jesse Palmer, is also expected to be in attendance.
The 72-year-old Turner and 70-year-old Nist bonded over their shared pasts, having lost both their spouses to illness. After a bit of rocky press following The Golden Bachelor finale, it seems the two lovebirds are making it to the altar — and making it official. And while fans are urging the Golden Bachelor couple to get a prenup ahead of their big day, the two haven’t revealed whether they signed anything … except for signing the deal to air their wedding on TV.
