More from Deadline

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie have made the cut to participate in the latest GOP debate, after the field was reduced recently when South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott dropped out of the race just after last month’s third debate.

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson are also still in the race but for the second debate in a row failed to qualify for the stage. The GOP frontrunner in the polls, Donald Trump, has not participated in any of the debates yet this cycle, and has been calling on the Republican National Committee to end them altogether.

As for tonight’s debate, NewsNation anchor Elizabeth Vargas will moderate along with Megyn Kelly and Washington Free Beacon editor-in-chief Eliana Johnson. It is scheduled to run two hours.

To qualify for tonight’s debate, candidates must be polling at 6% or higher in two national polls, or at 6% in one early state poll from two separate “carve out” states (Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina); have 80,000 unique donors to their principal campaign committee, with at least 200 unique donors in 20 or more states or territories each; and each must sign a pledge to support whoever becomes the party’s eventual nominee.

Trump is the only major GOP candidate to not sign the pledge.
