While in the studio with Echosmith‘s manager Jeffery David, Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke sat down with the family band’s frontwoman Sydney Sierota to cover Cyndi Lauper‘s “Time After Time.”
With David on the piano, the two singers performed a harmonious, stripped-down version of the 1983 pop song. Sierota’s studio time follows Echosmith’s first-ever performance at Coachella, which wrapped up this past weekend.

Whether Brooke was in the studio recording with Echosmith or just enjoying messing around on a weekend is unclear, but either way, her bandmates definitely have her back.
