Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
Just hours after the news broke that the show would end with its upcoming seventh season, the cast and EPs of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stopped by our video studio in two separate groups to reflect upon the final season — and their very first appearance in Comic-Con’s Hall H.
Nancy Drew
Ahead of the debut of the CW’s new take on the iconic girl detective, the stars of Nancy Drew teased their “relatable” series and gave a preview of what their classic characters will look like in this new incarnation.
Cobra Kai
The cast of YouTube Red’s Cobra Kai joined us to discuss the season 2 finale and where things will go in season 3 when the show returns in 2020.
His Dark Materials
The stars and EPs of HBO’s much-anticipated new adaptation of Philip Pullman’s classic fantasy series His Dark Materials chatted about what drew them to the show, acting alongside CGI animals, and what their own dæmons would look like (you might be surprised what they chose).
Shazam!
Following the super success of Shazam!, star Asher Angel teased the possibility of not just a yet to be announced Shazam 2, but also Shazam 3. He went on to further discuss his blossoming music career and the upcoming series finale of Andi Mack.
Fear the Walking Dead
What will become of Alicia on Fear the Walking Dead? The cast stopped by to discuss and Alycia Debnam-Carey said that radioactive moment “opens up a whole new personality possibility for her” heading into the midseason finale. Assuming she lives.
Superstore
The hilarious cast of NBC’s Superstore joined us to discuss filming the “intense” season 4 finale, what episodes they’d like to do again, Comic-Con plans, and on-set food. As for a season 5 tease? “We know nothing.”
The Terror: Infamy
AMC’s horror anthology series is back with a new installment that is set in a Japanese internment camp, which had personal significance for star George Takei, who was held at such a camp as a child. In addition to The Terror: Infamy, Takei gave his endorsement for Quentin Tarantino to create his own Star Trek movie, declaring, “I think it’s a great combo.”
Quantic Dream
Jesse Williams hopped into EW’s forest set to discuss his role of Markus in Quantic Dream’s adventure game, Detroit: Become Human. And don’t worry, the Grey’s Anatomy star plays the good guy (well, android): “He aims to be good, do good, and to create space for people to live out their purpose.” But whether Markus survives, is up to the player.
Evil
Robert and Michelle King have conquered good, so they’re now ready to take on evil. The Good Wife and Good Fight creators previewed their new series Evil and explain why they think audiences are so fascinated by supernatural investigations.
It Chapter Two
If you’re looking for any significant information or scoop on It Chapter Two, then you may be disappointed. But, if you love interviews going completely off the rails in the most hilarious way, then you’re in for a real treat.
American Gods
Yetide Badaki, who plays Bilquis on American Gods, chatted about all her ultimate nerd dreams coming true, from being a Comic-Con VIP to getting to work with executive producer Neil Gaiman, who she explains is a genius.
Pennyworth
Batman probably wouldn’t get far without his butler Alfred, but as Epix’s Pennyworth shows, Alfred went plenty far without Batman. The show’s stars and executive producers discussed Alfred and Thomas Wayne’s strained relationship, the actors’ “rigorous” fight scene training, and the origins of the show — which did involve Michael Caine.
Terminator: Dark Fate
Linda Hamilton and her Terminator: Dark Fate costars broke down why this is the right time to return to the franchise, and shared some facts about what it’s like to train for a Terminator movie.
SpongeBob SquarePants
The cast of SpongeBob SquarePants stopped by and treated our studio to their impressions of each other — as well as their hopes for where their characters end up.
Veronica Mars
The Veronica Mars cast lead by Kristen Bell talked about how the Marshmallow fandom has changed with all the newcomers watching the series on Hulu, plus all the “buns and guns” the new season will bring.
Krypton
Krypton’s Seg-El Cameron Cuffe stopped by to tease the upcoming “biggest episodes that we have ever shot,” comment on the death of [SPOILER!], and talk about his geek culture faves.
Undone
Undone creators and star Rosa Salazar revealed the very personal origins of the Amazon series and how they pulled off the show’s unique style.
Emergence
The cast and creators of new series Emergence discussed the weight of the main character’s big decision from the pilot, the difficulty of keeping the twists a secret, and a long-in-the-works dance routine that the young stars have been prepping behind the scenes, set to make its debut at a Comic-Con party Friday night.
What Just Happened??! With Fred Savage
What just happened was that Fred Savage really doesn’t know how to hold a microphone during an interview. When he wasn’t struggling with that, he talked about his spoof aftershow and late-night influences.
The Witcher
Onetime Superman Henry Cavill expressed great enthusiasm for his next project, a Netflix adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s popular fantasy series The Witcher, when he and the showrunner and cast stopped by to discuss the new show.
Legacies
What would a Hope-less world look like? Picking up from the cliffhanger of season 1, the Legacies cast and creative team discussed how the characters will react to the absence of Hope and her eventual return.
The 100
Stars Eliza Taylor and Richard Harmon talked about their often-changing and evolving CW series The 100, while also teasing what’s still to come in season 6.
The Expanse
The Expanse will be back later this year after being revived by Amazon and showrunner Naren Shankar says season 4 “is a new starting point for the show and it changes everything going forward.” Star Dominique Tipper adds, “It expands.” Hey, I see what you did there!
Game of Thrones
What would it take to get the cast members of Game of Thrones to return down the road for a spin-off? Well, watch the video to learn that and what Bran the Broken’s reign is looking like so far.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow
Season 5 will be a big one for Legends of Tomorrow. Not only will star Caity Lotz make her directorial debut, but her costar Brandon Routh, who plays Ray Palmer/the Atom, will also reprise of his titular Superman Returns role in the forthcoming Arrowverse crossover “Crisis on Infinite Earths.”

DuckTales
The DuckTales cast — joined by surprise guest Lin-Manuel Miranda — discussed which musicals would be made even better with ducks, plus Miranda revealed which In the Heights line was inspired by Darkwing Duck.
The Rook
She may be one of the stars of The Rook, but Olivia Munn is no rookie to Comic-Con. During her stop by the EW video studio, the actress looked back on her time at the convention, while also talking about her new Starz series.
Avengers: Endgame
There was one story line that Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo were bummed to lose from their film, and, coincidentally, it involved one of the Avengers losing their head. The filmmakers discussed that surprising story line and the attempts to give Chris Evans a fake beard when they sat down in EW’s video studio.
Stumptown
Stars Cobie Smulders and Jake Johnson shared what they saw in Stumptown that made them eager to sign up for the new ABC series.
Freema Agyeman
Freema Agyeman came reflected on her iconic Doctor Who character and looked ahead to New Amsterdam season 2.
Wynonna Earp
At last year’s Comic-Con, Wyonna Earp was renewed for another season, so, while the show hasn’t yet returned for season 4, the stars and creative team talked about the pressures of delivering an exciting next installment.
Black Lightning
The cast of Black Lightning was live in EW’s Comic-Con studio suite and that included Jordan Calloway, whose character appeared to be left for dead. The stars tease what’s to come there and in the rest of season 3.

The day after the first trailer for Jay and Silent Bob Reboot dropped, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes chatted with EW about why Smith was determined to make this movie and how it helped rebuild his friendship with Ben Affleck.

The Dark Crystal
Despite the fact that Mark Hamill and Taron Egerton were both in The Dark Crystal: The Age of Resistance and Kingsman: The Secret Service they didn’t meet until Friday at Comic-Con. Egerton fanboyed out over meeting the Star Wars vet while visiting EW’s video studio.
Mayans M.C.
The upcoming second season of Mayans M.C. “is about retribution,” series co-creator Elgin James ominously teased. “This season’s about revenge.”
The Flash
The cast of The Flash joined us to discuss what to expect from Team Flash next season, which version of Wells Tom Cavanagh plans to portray next, and why Grant Gustin was bummed that he got a haircut.
Snowpiercer
The best part of waking up is crickets in your protein bar. The cast — which includes Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs — and creator of TBS’ Snowpiercer series got a taste of what the characters in their apocalyptic sci-fi drama use for snacks.
The Man in the High Castle
The cast of The Man in The High Castle teased a “fast-paced,” “thrilling,” “surprising,” and “emotional” final season on Amazon. In other words, the story won’t be tied up in a big red bow when all is said and done.
Carnival Row
Soon after the character videos introducing Carnival Row’s star-crossed heroes debuted, the cast and EPs of Amazon’s upcoming fantasy drama stopped by to tease their characters — not all of them human — and wax poetic about the gorgeous show’s production.
Supergirl
The Supergirl cast shared their feelings about a “bittersweet” season 5 with Mehcad Brooks exiting the CW superhero series later this year. There was also a lot of chanting — so much chanting.
The Magicians
Watch The Magicians cast teased a little too much of the new season, prompting a producer to storm the interview.
The Goldbergs and Schooled
The stars of the Goldbergverse teamed up in the EW studio, where The Goldbergs actor Troy Gentile revealed that the show’s season 7 premiere will be a Vacation-dedicated episode, and Brett Dier put it out to the universe that Schooled ought to do a Matrix tribute — preferably with a Keanu cameo.

The cast and creators of NOS4A2 reflected on the essence and evolution of the vampire myth and the importance of oral hygiene on the set.
The Rookie
Comic-Con royalty Nathan Fillion reveals the tips he gave to his Comic-Con rookie costars from The Rookie, while also suggesting that members of his former shows Castle and Firefly could be making their way to his current series.
Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark
Producer Guillermo del Toro and director André Øvredal are excited to finally introduce you to their very own monster in the upcoming adaptation of the popular children’s book series Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.
The Boys
The boys and girls of The Boys gave a sneak peek of their characters in the alternative take on a superhero story — and guessed at what Boys-esque baggage some of pop culture’s most beloved superheroes might have (watch the video to find out which Avenger they think could be a porn star!).
Preacher
Ahead of AMC’s fourth and final season of Preacher, stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga and more stop by EW’s video suite to tease the “emotional” end to the comic book adaptation. Find out why the series finale left the actors “gutted.”
Star Trek: Discovery
The cast of Star Trek: Discovery teased a mysterious season 3 and a brand new project.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Teasing the “craziest episode we’ve ever done,” the Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast and executive producers also paid tribute to Stuart, the late dog who played Cheddar.
Star Trek: Picard
Patrick Stewart and his Star Trek: Picard castmates teased character details, returning faces from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and, of course, the role Picard’s dog will play on the show. Stewart also revealed he very nearly turned the project down — watch the video to find out what changed his mind.
Westworld
“Insight” and “tragedy.” That’s as close as you’ll get to spoilers from Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan. Watch the video below for more teases of the mysterious new season from stars Tessa Thompson, Aaron Paul, and Evan Rachel Wood.
Project Blue Book
Production on season 2 of History’s Project Blue Book just began, and stars Aidan Gillen, Michael Malarkey, Laura Mennell, Neal McDonough, Ksenia Solo, along with creator David O’Leary and showrunner Sean Jablonski discussed diving deeper into the real-life mystery and conspiracy surrounding investigations into UFOs.
The Walking Dead
After confirming her season 10 exit from The Walking Dead, Danai Gurira dishes on her emotional speech at the show’s panel, prompting Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Norman Reedus to share sweet goodbyes to their costar.
