Elmo might not be a fan of Rocko, but he does know how to rock.

In an exclusive clip, the beloved red Sesame Street monster, his dog Tango, and pal Gabrielle join Betsy Wolfe and Lorna Courtney of Broadway's & Juliet to deliver their own rendition of Katy Perry's "Roar" on the stage of the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

After both Gabrielle and Elmo confess to the Broadway stars that they'd be far too nervous to sing in front of a theatrical audience, the ladies teach them to fight their stage fright by letting out a loud lion roar. Naturally, the next step is to sing the Perry song of the same name.

The performance video marks the official launch of a new partnership between & Juliet and Sesame Workshop. For every ticket purchased between now and Oct. 10 at 11:59 p.m., & Juliet will donate one dollar, stretching up to a limit of $10,000, to Sesame Workshop to support their educational endeavors.

& Juliet, which opened on Broadway in fall 2022, stars Wolfe as Anne Hathaway, wife of William Shakespeare, as she reimagines a future for Juliet (Courtney) where the young Veronese woman doesn't kill herself at the end of Romeo and Juliet, but instead goes on to live a life of her choosing. The score features the music of pop songwriter Max Martin, including "Roar," which Juliet sings in the second act when deciding to take control of her own destiny.

Both Courtney and Wolfe were Tony nominated in June.

"My job is made so much easier because both Max Martin and David West Reed are wonderful, amazing writers in their own right," Courtney previously told EW. "Shakespeare, we all know, stands the test of time. But the comedy and the themes that are in Max Martin's songs do too. I'm still discovering, and every day I'm listening. It all works together so bizarrely...I took the songs, and I wrote them out as complete thoughts with periods, exclamation points, and commas. That way I understand what I'm saying, so that the audience can understand Juliet's story and full complete thoughts."

Now, Elmo gets to sing along too.
