In addition to besting the Billboard charts with club bangers like "Panda," Desiigner has always enjoyed the thrill of trying to conquer the impossible. In efforts to break several Guinness world records, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper appeared on the inaugural episode of Hot 97's Breaking Records with Megan Ryte.
First, the bold tandem teamed up to eat a bowl full of jello with chopsticks in less than a minute. If they were able to shatter the record of 3.2 ounces, they would be placed into the record book. "I'm ready to eat these jellos, man. I got the munchies," Desiigner exclaimed.
Despite finishing his jello on the first go-around, Desiigner was disqualified for lifting up his bowl to eat. On the second try, he swept through the challenge and ate 3.5 ounces of jello. Although it appeared that he clinched the world record, the judges said that his numbers were under review. "It's all in the scoop, and not the fork, ya dig," he added.
For their second world record attempt, Ryte and Desiigner joined forces to complete 32 leapfrogs in 30 seconds. For their first try, the duo struggled mightily and were only able to do four leapfrogs. On their last try, they upped their number to 12, but still soundly failed the challenge.
On the music front, Desiigner is prepping for his forthcoming Outlet tour in April. His six-week trek will kick off April 2 in Seattle.
