Watch Charlotte Gainsbourg Cover Kanye West’s “Runaway”

During a recent appearance on the French television program “Taratata,” Charlotte Gainsbourg covered Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy song, “Runaway.” Instead of rapping the verse, Gainsbourg whispered the lyrics. Watch the rendition via the “Taratata” website. Last year, Gainsbourg released her latest album, Rest. She most recently shared the video for album cut “Lying With You.” It features Gainsbourg exploring her late father Serge’s untouched home. Kanye recently made a surprise return to the stage by performing with Kid Cudi in Los Angeles. His last release was 2016’s The Life of Pablo.
