How to watch 'A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving': Here's where it is and isn't streaming

Thanksgiving is almost here, which means it’s time to put that turkey in the oven, mash those potatoes and bake those pies.

As you prepare for all the food and Black Friday shopping to come, you may be thinking of ways to entertain guests. Aside from watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and rooting for football teams, you can put on “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.”

The 30-minute animated movie was released in 1973 and shows Peppermint Patty inviting everyone to Charlie Brown’s for Thanksgiving even though he was going to see his grandmother. You also see Snoopy cooking up his version of a Thanksgiving meal with friends.

Can I watch ‘Charlie Brown Thanksgiving’ on Peacock?

“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” is not available to watch on Peacock.

Unfortunately, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” is also not on Amazon Prime Video.

How to watch ‘A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving’?

The only way you can watch “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” is through Apple TV+. In 2020 the platform got the exclusive rights to stream the “Peanuts” holiday specials.

So, for the last two years, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” have only been on Apple TV+, according to The Verge.

However, Apple TV+ does provide an opportunity for nonsubscribers to stream the "Peanuts" specials for free on specific dates. “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” aired on Nov. 18 and 19 but you can still catch the other two favorites:

  • “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” on Oct. 21 and 22.

  • “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on Dec. 16 and 17.
