Watch the cast of Family Ties reunite for charity: 'What would we do without us?'

Everett Collection

The Keaton family is coming back together for one night only to raise money for a good cause.

The Actors Fund will reunite the cast of Family Ties — including Michael J. Fox, Meredith Baxter, Michael Gross, Tina Yothers, Marc Price, and Scott Valentine — Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT to benefit the artistic community, providing financial support to buy groceries, pay rent, and pay doctor's bills during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Family Ties told the story of the Keaton family, centering on conservative son Alex P. Keaton (Fox), whose political ideologies conflicted with those of his liberal hippy parents, Elyse (Baxter) and Steven (Gross). Alex’s younger sister, Jennifer, was played by Yothers, with Price portraying annoying neighbor Skippy Handelman. Valentine joined the cast in season 4 in the role of biker Nick Moore, the boyfriend of the Keatons' eldest daughter, Mallory (Justine Bateman).

The show ran for seven seasons on NBC, from 1982 to 1989, earning five Emmy Awards, including three for Fox in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series category.

The Family Ties reunion will air as part of the daily series Stars in the House, with Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley serving as hosts. Fans can ask questions and donate to the Actors Fund for a chance to have their names read by the cast on air.

The reunion will stream above, as well as on PEOPLE's social platforms (Facebook and Twitter), as well as on PeopleTV's Facebook and Twitter.
