Watch: Carson Wentz shows good mobility in Eagles' OTAs

The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are holding their first day of on-field organized team activities (OTAs) on Tuesday, and quarterback Carson Wentz, who tore the ACL and LCL in his left knee on Dec. 10 against the Los Angeles Rams, is in uniform with his teammates.

With media on hand at the team’s practice facility, there were camera shutters clicking and video rolling to get visuals on Wentz in action. This, from ESPN Eagles reporter Tim McManus, shows how mobile Wentz looks, even with a brace on his surgically repaired knee:

Not too limited in practice

Reporters on hand said Wentz not only looked good, he didn’t seem to be limited during the pads-free workout. Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer said Wentz did “everything” and that his passes were “pinpoint.”

Wentz did all of the drills with the Eagles’ other quarterbacks, though he’s not yet fully cleared by team doctors.

Wentz was excited for the day

The 25-year-old, who got engaged in February, seemed excited that he’d be back on the field with his teammates, posting this photo to Twitter:

“Day 1 of OTAs! Never settle!,” Wentz wrote, with the #flyeaglesfly hashtag.
