Tis the season for holiday movies and one of the most-anticipated holiday movies of the year is now streaming on Amazon Prime. Candy Cane Lane is a new Amazon Original movie that stars Eddie Murphy as a man who strikes a deal with a magical elf in the hopes of winning his neighborhood’s annual Christmas home decorating contest. But when the deal goes south, Murphy’s character must try to break the spell in order to restore Christmas cheer for his family — and community.
Written by Kelly Younger and directed by Reginald Hudlin (who reunites with Murphy for the first time since 1992’s Boomerang) Candy Cane Lane premieres December 1 on Amazon Prime Video. Candy Cane Lane isn’t airing on TV so the only way to watch Murphy’s holiday flick is to stream it on Prime Video. In addition to Murphy, Candy Cane Lane stars Tracee Ellis Ross, Jillian Bell, Ken Marino, Nick Offerman and Robin Thede.
