The first season of Netflix's Bridgerton made a Regency-era stan out of the most unlikely people—this author included. When Regé-Jean Page's Simon Bassett (the Duke of Hastings) professed his love for Phoebe Dynevor's Daphne Bridgerton with nothing but, "You're the bane of my existence and the object of my desires," audiences broke a sweat. Season two and the hit spinoff, Queen Charlotte, only set the bar higher.

So what's in store for season three? Expect your love for this make-believe universe to grow. To celebrate its release on May 16, InStyle gathered every girl boss from the fictional world's royal society to participate in Fan Mail, our exclusive video series in which cast members from beloved series answer fans' questions.

And while you'll have to watch the clip for all the details, here are the Spark Notes: As fans of the Bridgerton books already know, the sexual tension between Nicola Coughlan's Penelope and Luke Newton's Colin certainly gets revved up in season three, while awkwardness between Penelope and Claudia Jessie's Eloise also rises.

Now played by Hannah Dodd, a freshly re-cast Francesca Bridgerton makes her debut in the marriage mart as she hopes to find a husband, despite her shy personality. Also a delight? Ruth Gemmell's Violet Bridgerton and her blooming garden, which is even more in need of a proper watering this season, plus Golda Rosheuvel's Queen Charlotte, now desperate to ensure a proper wedding happens in the 'ton.
