Before quarterback Jake Fromm found himself in the starting role as a true freshman at Georgia, Fromm had a huge senior season at Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Fromm was a five-star recruit coming out of Houston County, but things didn’t always come easy. The Go90.com web series “QB1: Beyond the Lights,” gives you a behind-the-scenes look at Fromm’s final high school season.

One clip shows Fromm receiving medical attention after going into full body cramps, the aftereffects of training without being properly hydrated, and receiving some words of wisdom from his father, Emerson Fromm.

Another clip shows Fromm, right after a game, revealing that he injured his shoulder.

Fromm, now a true freshman at UGA, entered the season as the team’s No. 2 quarterback before being thrust into action following a knee injury to starter Jacob Eason. Since then, Fromm has been the team’s top quarterback, throwing for 836 yards, 10 touchdowns and two interceptions while completing 60 percent of his passes.

Georgia, ranked No. 4 in the country with a perfect 6-0 record, hosts Missouri on Saturday.
