She sang “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” with the Roots

Tonight, Ariana Grande opened “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” with a pay tribute to Aretha Franklin, who died earlier today following a battle with advanced pancreatic cancer. Grande sang “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” alongside the Roots, and later, sat down with Fallon to talk about her memories of Franklin. Watch both clips below.

Ariana’s new album Sweetener arrives at midnight. It features “God Is a Woman” (which arrived with an epic video), the Nicki Minaj-featuring “The Light is Coming,” and “No Tears Left to Cry.” Last night, she appeared on James Corden’s “The Late Late Show” segment “Carpool Karaoke” to sing her hits and do her best Céline Dion impersonation. Her last record was 2016’s Dangerous Woman.
