How to watch Ariana Grande, Weezer, more Coachella performances from home

Don’t fret if you couldn’t fork over a pile of Benjamins to gain access to the Coachella Festival this weekend. It’s streaming online for free.

Granted, only a fraction of the acts in Indio, CA. are available via Coachella’s YouTube channel, but they are the best ones. The feed began on Friday at 4 p.m. with performances from the likes of Kacey Musgraves, Jaden Smith, Janelle Monáe and Childish Gambino. The live feed will resume Saturday at 4:15 p.m. with music from Weezer, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, Bassnectar and others. It will continue Sunday in case you want to hear from Zedd, H.E.R., Khalid, and Ariana Grande – who is making her debut appearance in the desert.

Though Coachella has been streaming its concerts for nine years, this is the first time the festival is offering the live performances online during both weekends. There’s also plenty more content to enjoy on the channel, which includes a function to create your own viewing schedules from 83 different performers.

The first weekend of Coachella at the Empire Polo Grounds runs April 12-14; the second is April 19-21. More information on what you are missing at the 20th annual gathering can be found on the event’s website.
