Watch ‘Aquaman’ Jason Momoa On ‘SNL’: Revives ‘Game Of Thrones’ Khal Drogo’s Ghost & Other Holiday Silliness

A game Jason Momoa hosted Saturday Night Live to promote his turn as Aquaman in a silly hit or miss pre-holiday broadcast. The show began with Eric Trump being visited by Robert Mueller, in the form of Robert De Niro. The insistence on having hosts or stars play these pivotal characters shows the downside here, as De Niro so clearly stares offstage to read lines from the cue cards. It ruined the opening, in my opinion. Momoa then: played an elf on a shelf, reporting back to Santa as he was stuck having to to watch the child he is assigned to reach puberty and become a masturbating machine; he reprised his Game of Thrones warrior in a public television sketch called Khal Drogo’s Ghost Dojo; and showed how a stay at home husband can retain his masculinity with the help of GE appliances. And a pretty funny turn in Weekend Update when co-host Michael Che swapped seats to become a guest correspondent regaling viewers with the magical life changing benefits that the bidet can provide, despite the MTA rejecting ads from a bidet-making company called Tushy.

Here are some highlights, last of which is a sleigh ride from hell:
