The first four episodes of the show premiered on Friday. Additional episodes will air weekly leading up to the season finale on November 12.

Written and executive produced by Sara Goodman, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” is based on Lois Duncan’s 1973 novel of the same name from which the 1997 film was adapted. The series’ plot centers around a group of teens still haunted by a fatal car crash, one year later. Bound by the dark secret, and stalked by a brutal killer, the teens try to uncover who’s after them, but doing so reveals the dark side of their seemingly perfect town (and themselves).

“I Know What You Did Last Summer” stars Madison Iseman, Bill Heck, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, and Brooke Bloom.

Ahead of the show’s premiere, the cast was surprised with a special visit from Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, and Freddie Prinze Jr., who starred in the ’90s film. The film cast offered their support and shared excitement for the series, while officially passing the torch to the new cast.
