Watch Alt-J’s Cinematic New “3WW” Video

The story of a supernatural funeral parade in the Mexican wilderness

By Jazz Monroe.

Alt-J have shared a video for “3WW,” the song that heralded the announcement of new album Relaxer. The group describe the Young Replicant-directed clip as “a beautifully shot story of love and loss in Mexico.” In it, a funeral parade leaves the town and heads out to the wilderness. When one man and his donkey are left alone with the coffin, they encounter wild animals and experience a visitation in the middle of the night, which leads to a miraculous turnaround. Watch it below. Yesterday, Alt-J launched a new web game soundtracked by “3WW”—check it out here.

Relaxer is out June 2.
