Watch a Supercut of Tom Hanks at His Angriest Best

Thursday brought news that Tom Hanks will be among the luminaries celebrated at the Kennedy Center Honors in December, a black-tie gala in which he’ll sit next to the President and First Lady. But does the Kennedy Center really know who they’re dealing with here? The 20th anniversary rerelease of Forrest Gump is hitting select theaters now, and we wanted to remind America that while Hollywood’s reigning Mr. Nice Guy played a memorable kind-hearted rube, he also has a history of losing his temper on-screen. Yahoo Movies has assembled this supercut (above), showing some of Tom Hanks’s most memorable cinematic freak-outs. Watch as the two-time Oscar winner stomps his feet, screams his head off, and goes totally ballistic on neighbors (The ‘Burbs), underperforming ballplayers (A League of Their Own), and even a dog (Turner and Hooch). Talk about Forrest Grump!
