Watch a Live Feed of Shia LaBeouf Viewing a Marathon of All of His Own Movies

Shia LaBeouf watches his film ‘Man Down’ (2015) over a live web cam on Tuesday afternoon.

Want to go to the movies with Shia LaBeouf? Now’s your chance — and we do mean right now. For his latest performance art project, the actor is live-streaming a video of himself watching every movie he ever made at the Angelika Film Center in downtown New York City. According to the description of the video, “Visitors are invited to join Shia LaBeouf in person as he watches all his movies consecutively in reverse chronological order over the next three days, 24 hours a day (admission free).” For those who can’t catch the F train to join LaBeouf, the live feed can be viewed online here. (Note: Traffic appears to be swamping the site at the moment. Hopefully it’s up and running again soon.)

As this post is being written, LaBeouf is eating popcorn and closely watching his latest film, the post-apocalyptic war thriller Man Down (which premiered in September at the Venice Film Festival). At first, he appeared to be sitting in an empty theater, but the seats are slowly being filled by audience members seeking the full LaBeouf experience. Since his movies are being shown reverse-chronologically, the next one up should be last year’s war drama Fury, followed by both installments of Lars Von Triers’ explicit Nymphomaniac. (If you’re going to watch LaBeouf’s face during just one film, you should probably make it that one). Over the next three days, the offerings should include Transformers, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and (if we’re lucky) the 1998 family film Monkey Business, which LaBeouf made when he was around 11 years old. (Plot description: “A group of friends tries to thwart a handful of gangsters with some help from the animal kingdom”). As of right now, it’s unclear whether LaBeouf will sleep, take bathroom breaks, or consume anything except popcorn.

The project, entitled #ALLMYMOVIES, is the work of LaBeouf’s artistic collective LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner, which also includes British artist Luke Turner and Finnish artist Nastja Säde Rönkkö. Their previous performance art projects include “I Am Not Famous Anymore,” which involved LaBeouf attending the Nymphomaniac premiere with a paper bag over his head, scrawled with the words of the project’s title.
