Jimmy Kimmel returns to host the 96th Academy Awards, which will air this year in a new earlier time slot.

The 2024 Oscars will broadcast on ABC today at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET. Those without a traditional cable subscription can stream the awards ceremony on a live TV streaming service that carries the network, including DirecTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV or Sling‘s Blue plan, among others. Immediately after the ceremony, ABC will air a new episode of the award-winning comedy Abbott Elementary.

Broadcasting from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, the event will also be livestreamed with American Sign Language interpretation on the Academy’s YouTube channel for Deaf or hard-of-hearing viewers.

This year’s presenters will include past Oscar winners and nominees, including Mahershala Ali, Emily Blunt, Bad Bunny, Nicolas, Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Cynthia Erivo, America Ferrera, Sally Field, Brendan Fraser, Ryan Gosling, Ariana Grande, Chris Hemsworth, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Keaton, Regina King, Ben Kingsley, Jessica Lange, Jennifer Lawrence, Melissa McCarthy, Matthew McConaughey, Kate McKinnon, Rita Moreno, John Mulaney, Lupita Nyong’o, Catherine O’Hara, Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ke Huy Quan, Issa Rae, Tim Robbins, Sam Rockwell, Octavia Spencer, Steven Spielberg, Mary Steenburgen, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlize Theron, Christoph Waltz, Forest Whitaker, Michelle Yeoh, Ramy Youssef and Zendaya.

The schedule includes live performances of the nominees for best original song: Ryan Gosling (who is also nominated for best supporting actor) and producer Mark Ronson will team up for “I’m Just Ken,” and Billie Eilish and brother Finneas O’Connell will perform “What Was I Made For,” both from Barbie; Scott George and the Osage Singers will perform “Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People)” from Killers of the Flower Moon; Becky G will perform “The Fire Inside” from Flaming Hot; and Jon Batiste will sing “It Never Went Away” from his documentary American Symphony.

Oscars 2024: Red Carpet and Ceremony Date and Time

ABC begins its blanket coverage of the Oscars today at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET with Countdown to the Oscars: On The Red Carpet Live. Then at 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET, the network’s On the Red Carpet at the Oscars pre-show begins and will be hosted by George Pennacchio with Rachel Brown, Leslie Lopez and Roshumba Williams.

ABC’s official lead-in to the 96th Academy Awards, The Oscars Red Carpet Show, starts at 3:30 p.m. PT/6:30 p.m. ET with co-hosts Vanessa Hudgens and Julianne Hough.

Over on E!, Laverne Cox will host Live From E!: The Oscars at 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET. Zanna Roberts Rassi, Zuri Hall, comedian Heather McMahan and fashion designer Christian Siriano will join Cox for red carpet commentary. Learn more about how to stream the Oscars pre- and post-show coverage.

The 96th Academy Awards air live today on ABC at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET. Cord cutters and those without a cable subscription can watch the Oscars on any live TV streaming service that carries ABC, including DirecTV Stream, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV and Sling‘s Blue plan.
