Watch the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year red carpet livestream
Aerosmith will be honored with the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year award during its 30th anniversary benefit gala tonight, but the party will start on the red carpet with EW’s live coverage from the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Watch as PEOPLE staff editor Melody Chiu and PeopleTV host Jeremy Parsons chat with the many stars in attendance. The guest list includes the Jonas Brothers, John Legend, Jessie J, Kesha, Luis Fonsi, Melissa Etheridge, John Mayer, and the event’s host Russell Brand.
The Red Carpet Live: At MusiCares livestream will begin right here at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
MusiCares is an annual event tied to the Grammy Awards celebration that selects a Person of the Year in recognition of their philanthropic efforts throughout their career. Aerosmith will perform live and accept their award at the ceremony.
Throughout the night, there will also be performances by the aforementioned attendees and many more surprises.
MusiCares was established in 1989 by the Recording Academy to offer help to members of the music community in need of health and human services. To date, they have distributed more than $66 million dollars to more than 66,000 clients in need.
