How To Watch The 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards
The 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards are an online thing this year, lacking a broadcast TV outlet since 2015. But if you have a computer or a smart TV and a good Internet connection, you can still watch all the action live from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, CA.
Hosts Mario Lopez (Extra) and Sheryl Underwood of The Talk will bring the celebration to you starting at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT. The event will be livestreamed on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Periscope, and will also be spotlighted on the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences official website at emmyonline.tv/daytime-emmy-awards/.
Other options: You can download the KNEKT TV app and watch with Apple TV, Roku, iOS and Android. Or, if you can make it to Pasadena, Ticketmaster is actually selling seats to the live event.
The major categories were announced live on The Talk on March 21. The ceremony will be highlighted by the presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award to Days of Our Lives veterans Bill Hayes (Doug) and Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie).
The Creative Arts Emmy winners were announced on April 27, honoring the best of the behind-the-lens crews and digital categories.
