Warroad Community Town Hall Meeting announced for March 19

Mar. 6—WARROAD, Minn. — The first Warroad Community Town Hall Meeting of 2024 is scheduled to be held Tuesday, March 19, according to a press release.

Warroad Community Development (WCD) announced the meeting, which is to be held at Warroad High School, in the school's theater. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will include multiple presentations, followed by an opportunity for questions from those in attendance, the release said.

The presentations planned for the town hall include a project update by WCD, a new arts, culture and events center by Warroad Riverplace, an introduction to the community by The ARC, a community update by LifeCare, a presentation on how the community benefited from Hockey Day Minnesota and an update on the planning for July 4 by Warroad Area Chamber of Commerce.

A report of the meeting will be made available and provide a record of what was discussed, along with a Q&A section, and will be available as a digital download along with the presentations, the release said.

"The town hall meetings are designed as an opportunity for the community to become increasingly aware of what is happening around the city of Warroad," the release said. "This includes finding out how the community can get involved in and potentially volunteer to help deliver some of the incredible projects."
