Warren Braithwaite, Nicole Murphy’s Partner, Dead Following Cancer Battle
Nicole Murphy has reportedly lost her lover, Warren Braithwaite, to cancer according to Essence. The producer, actress, and former wife of Eddie Murphy has not publicly spoken out about the loss, but friends and family of the couple have expressed condolences on social media.
Reportedly, the two began dating in July 2023 when the Hollywood Exes executive producer and star posted photos of them together on social media. Braithwaite also appeared beside her during her son, Myles Murphy’s, wedding in Sept. 2023.
“Lost a good friend, a brother, a childhood friend today” someone reportedly commented about Braithwaite’s on IG. “We gonna celebrate ur life way over the top cause that’s who u where!!! Rest easy!! aka trees aka 50grand aka wild oats love u bro **k cancer!!!!! @nikimurphy stay strong sis.”
Throughout Murphy’s Instagram there are various videos and photos of the couple celebrating the New Year, dancing together at parties, attending dinners and more.
In December, Murphy shared an image of her and Braithwaite cozy on the dance floor with the caption, “We both are not perfect, but we are perfect for each other my love.” In another video, she shared the two getting down on a dance floor with the caption, “My baby & I were getting it in. Now of course we have typical @dariusjackson_ messing up our pic lol!”
