Grammy-winning roots duo The War and Treaty, Texas singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett and Memphis favorite Valerie June are among the acts set to appear as part of Germantown Performing Arts Center’s 2024-25 season.

GPAC’s 30th season will feature 15 shows: six as a part of the Center Stage Series, six in the Jazz Series and three in the Dance & Movement Series.

The husband-and-wife duo Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter of The War and Treaty will kick off the Center Stage series on Sept. 21. Singer, composer, actor and Americana icon Lovett and His Large Band will take the stage Oct. 11. West Tennessee native Valerie June returns to the Bluff City for a show on Nov. 9.

The War and Treaty will kick off the 2024-2025 GPAC season in September.

The GPAC season will continue in 2025 with a performance by acclaimed rock musician Meshell Ndegeocello on Jan. 11. Veteran gospel-soul group The Blind Boys of Alabama will appear on Feb. 8. On March 22, the Sam Grisman Project will play a special concert event, “The Music of Jerry Garcia and David Grisman” — as the younger Grisman showcases his love of his father David Grisman’s and Jerry Garcia’s music.

The Jazz Series will commence on Oct. 19, with “Because of You: A Tribute to the Legendary Tony Bennett” starring Michael Feinstein and the Carnegie Hall Jazz Band. The series will continue with the  Emmet Cohen Trio (Nov. 16), New York vocalist Bria Skonberg (Jan. 18) and 17-time Grammy nominees The Yellowjackets (Feb. 1).

GPAC is also bringing back its Dance & Movement Series, with Pilobolus set for a collection of dance pieces on the main stage on Oct. 26. African dance troupe Cirque Kalabanté makes its GPAC debut on Jan. 24, while Chloé Arnold’s Syncopated Ladies LIVE — a groundbreaking, all-women tap production — will hit the stage on March 28, 2025.
