Want extra treats this Halloween. Here are some Bucks County events to fill your bags
Halloween used to be a one-night affair, but now trick-or-treating can keep you busy for weeks with special events to keep the season spooky and the candy plentiful.
The Philadelphia Zoo, Playpad Bucks and Sesame Place all have special days coming up, and communities and groups throughout Bucks County promise plenty of treats with events lined up through Oct. 31.
We took a look at town rules around Halloween and have highlighted some events to ensure fall fun for all:
Quakertown officially sets trick-or-treating hours; no other additional curfew restrictions in Bucks County
Quakertown is one of the few towns in Bucks County that has officially recognized a time for trick-or-treating.
As such, Quakertown will officially observe trick-or-treating from 6 p.m. through 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Bucks County administration spokesperson James O'Malley said he isn't aware of any other municipality establishing special trick-or-treating times, or of any municipality loosening the curfew times already in force.
Most curfews in Bucks County begin at 10 p.m. on weekdays, but trick-or-treating should be well finished by then.
Boo Bash at Oxford Valley Mall
The Oxford Valley Mall will transform into one giant trick-or-treating paradise on Saturday, Oct. 28.
There will be giveaways, events and family-friendly activities for this wall-to-wall trick-or-treating crawl at the mall on East Lincoln Highway in Middletown. The events kick off at 2 p.m. at the upper level food court.

Boo at the Philadelphia Zoo
The Philadelphia Zoo — America's first zoo — will allow trick-or-treating on consecutive weekends throughout the rest of October: Oct. 21 and 22; and Oct. 28 and 29.
Trick-or-treating will be occur during opening hours those weekends, which is 9 a.m. through 5 p.m.
The Philadelphia Zoo also has exclusive trick-or-treat options for members.
Members will have access to "Boo at the Zoo" From 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 28.
Boo at the Zoo is included with the general admission ticket, but you must register online for these trick-or-offerings.
Halloween party, trick-or-treating at Playpad Bucks
Playpad Bucks, the interior play space designed for children up to nine years old and located at 860 Town Center Drive in Langhorne, is hosting a Halloween party and a trick-or-treat fest.
Playpad Bucks will have a costume parade, glow dance party, and nearly three hours of open play time.
Playpad Bucks' halloween party and trick-or-treating event begins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27.

Tickets are $45 for children and $5 for adults, and registration is required, which can be done through Playpad Bucks' online shop.
Trick-or-treating at Sesame Place
There will be two opportunities for trick-or-treating at Sesame Place in Middletown.
From 3 p.m. through 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30 and Tuesday, Oct. 31, Sesame Place will allow trick-or-treating throughout the park. Characters such as Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, Cookie Monster will be on hand for photo opportunities.

Costumed guests can enter the Halloween Costume Showcase and parade their get-up on Oscar’s Wacky Taxi Stage.
The halloween party at Sesame Place is a separately ticketed special event. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children.
Trick or treating at Amerikick Langhorne, Pennsbury Manor, Lou's Farm Mart and other Bucks County venues
There are even more trick-or-treating options to consider in Bucks County. Here is a rundown:
Trunk or Treat and Kids Karaoke at Eddington House at noon on Saturday, Oct. 21: DJ Dennis will provide the musical backdrop for this events, in which the best-decorated trunk will win a $50 gift card. For the kids, there will be lunch, a build-your-own-sundae, craft table and a kids karaoke. Tickets are $10 per child.
Trunk-or-Treat at Lou's Farm Mart, 5 p.m. Sunday Oct. 22: Here's an opportunity to show off one's best trunk-or-treat designs at Lou's Farm Mart, 2450 Bristol Pike in Bensalem. There will also be free pumpkin painting, discounted beverages and a family thanksgiving raffle. However, there are only 16 trunk spot left, so if a trunk designer wants to enter a creation, they must send an email to Brie@lousfarmmart.com.
All ages Halloween party at Nina's Waffles, 5 p.m Tuesday, Oct. 24: Nina's Waffles, at 110 S. Main Street in New Hope, is also providing kid-friendly Halloween vibes. Aside from trick-or-treating, Nina's Waffles will also provide stations for pumpkin painting, age appropriate games, music and dancing. Best of all? The event at Nina's Waffles is free.
Maple Point Middle School PTO Trunk or Treat, 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26: Maple Point Middle School at 2250 Langhorne-Yardley Road in Laghorne will offer several game stations and a trick-or-treating session during this Halloween event, which doubles as a fundraiser for the school. To that end, Maple Point Middle School is also looking for volunteers to staff this event, which is free for maple Point Middle School families.
Trunk-or-treat at Amerikick Langhorne, 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28: Indoor trick-or-treating, kiddie costume contest, raffles and contests fill out this event at Amerikick Langhorne, 2038 E. Old Lincoln Highway, Levittown. Kids, however, may be more interested in the more than 500 ponds of candy that Amerikick Langhorne is prepared to hand out. Registration is free.
Trick and Treats and Pennsbury Manor, 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29: Pennsbury Manor, located at 400 Pennsbury Memorial Road in Morrisville, has blocked off a three-hour slot for daytime trick-or-treating on its grounds. Aside from the trick-or-treating, Pennsbury Manor will also provide games and workers will perform in 17th century demonstrations.
Trunk or treat at Oxford Valley Chapel, 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29: Halloween takes on a biblical - and family-friendly - tone for the annual Trunk or Treat event at Oxford Valley Chapel, located at 198 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. The chapel will have biblical-themed trunks, Photo Booth, an escape room and other games. The event at Oxford Valley Chapel is free, but registration is required.
