Wanna play wrestle? The Last Match musical to wrestling fans ears

It's not a sport, it's a show.

This is the one time you can say that to a professional wrestler without getting power bombed.

The Last Match, which stars former WWE headliner and pro wrestling star Mickie James, is a production that includes the world of professional wrestling, musical theater and live rock music.

The show is about an independent wrestler Ben Vengeance, who competes in his final match against the heavyweight champion.

Director, lead producer and co-book writer Jeremiah James did just about everything with the product. Writer and lyricist Jason Huza weaves tales of triumph and turmoil. And Sylvana Joyce and C. Robert Smith were responsible for the music. Music is always key in wrestling, but even bigger when it's a musical.

'The Last Match' is coming to New York and Philadelphia.

ensemble, including Tony-nominated actor Ramin Karimloo, TikTok sensation Amber Ardolino, and pro-wrestling icon Matt Cardona," the show's website says. "AEW's Thunder Rosa also contributed a single to The Last Match, adding to its electrifying allure.

"In the world of The Last Match, the ring becomes a stage and the stage a battleground—a place where legends are born and dreams realized. As long as there are stories to tell and battles to fight, The Last Match will endure as a testament to the power of imagination and the indomitable spirit of humanity, inviting audiences of all ages to join in the experience."
