Wang Yibo C-Drama List: The Untamed, Legend of Fei & More

Wang Yibo is a talented actor, singer and dancer from China. He was a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy-group Uniq. He made his acting debut in the film MBA Partners in 2016. Yibo has recently gained praises from viewers and critics alike for his role as Wei Ruolai, a mere bank employee who becomes a face of the communist party in China, in the ongoing political C-drama War of Faith.

Critically acclaimed dramas of Wang Yibo include The Untamed, Legend of Fei, Luoyang, Being a Hero etc.

1. The Untamed

In this 2019 C-drama Wang Yibo plays the role of Lan Wang Ji, a follower of a respected clan, meets Wei Wu Xian (Xiao Zhan). The duo bond while training side by side. After Wei Wu Xian is murdered, a sacrificial ritual brings him back to life. Wang Ji and Wu Xian form an allegiance and investigate the murder mystery. In the process, they unveil a series of secrets.

2. Legend of Fei

This 2020 Wuxia C-drama is an adaptation of the novel “Bandits” by Priest. Wang Yibo plays the role of Xie Yun, a young martial arts expert. He hides a secret about his true identity. He meets Zhou Fei (Zhao Liying), the granddaughter of a national hero who was wrongfully accused of being a bandit. The two train side by side and form a bond. They embark on adventures and unveil many secrets together.

3. Luoyag

In this 2021 C-drama Wang Yibo plays the role of Baili Hong Yi, a young man who is investigating the truth behind his father’s death. After he meets Gao Bing Zhu (Huang Xian), they form an allegiance. Hong Yi helps Bing Zhu prove his innocence after he is accused of committing a heinous crime. The drama is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Ma Bo Yong.

4. Being a Hero

In this C-drama Chen Yu (Wang Yibo) and his best friend Wu Zhen Feng (Chen Xiao) form an allegiance to investigate the murder mystery of Zhen Feng’s father. Years later, Chen Yu is a narcotics officer. Whereas Zhen Feng is a illegal gang member and a murder suspect. Chen Yu is instructed to go undercover to uproot the gang from within. What sort of dramatic events await the former friends?

5. My Strange Friend 1 & 2

Wang Yibo plays the role of Wei Yi Chen, who suddenly attains a strange ability. He is able to read someone’s mind just by touching their face. He meets a group of people who also possess different sort of supernatural powers like telekinesis, invisibility, seeing the future etc.
