PETOSKEY — Walloon Writers Review, a Petoskey-based literary magazine, has announced the release of its eighth edition.

This edition is co-edited by associate editor Glen Young and founder Jennifer Huder. It features 59 contributors, including several from Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, Boyne City, Boyne Falls, Bellaire, Cheboygan, East Jordan and Wolverine communities.

Area authors Kate Allore, Monique Bova, Thomas Ford Conlan, Art Curtis, Dan Dueweke, Hailey French, Taylor Keiser, Ellen Lord, Karen Nemecek, Skip Renker, Jennifer Reynolds, Gary Merrill Schils, Becky Serrano, Edd Tury and Glen Young, with photography by Katie Gray, Doug Pfaff, Kimberly Ruley, Moon Seagren and Karen Walker contributing materials to this edition.

Intended to offer an enjoyable read for everyone, Walloon Writers Review publishes short stories, poetry and nature photography inspired by the region. While most contributors reside at least part time in Michigan, all have ties to the region.

Walloon Writers Review is available at area independent bookstores in the area, including McLean & Eakin in Petoskey, Between The Covers in Harbor Springs and online at Bookshop.org.
