'The Walking Dead': Watch a supercut of 14 nicknames used for zombies
To celebrate the Oct. 22 Season 8 premiere of The Walking Dead — the series’ 100th episode — Yahoo TV will be posting a new TWD-related story every day through the season opener.
Lurkers, deadies, skineaters: those are but a few of the things our heroes — and their foes — have called the shambling figures we know as walkers, zombies, biters… you get the point. They’ll never actually be called “zombies,” because in The Walking Dead universe, the concept of zombies and zombie movies don’t exist. But the monsters of TWD have earned a lot of different nicknames throughout seven seasons.
Monsters! That’s another one.
To pay homage to the one being pretty much everyone in the apocalypse considers an enemy (well, except young undead-lovin’ Lizzie, but Carol took care of that), we’ve collected our 13 favorite walker pseudonyms — 13 in addition to “walker” — in the video above.
