‘Walking Dead’ Stars Go Head-to-Head on ‘Lip Sync Battle’

The Walking Dead stars Lauren Cohan and Sonequa Martin-Green killed it on Lip Sync Battle. Martin-Green, who portrays Sasha Williams on the AMC megahit, came out guns blazing by taking on Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me).” Cohan, who plays sensible warrior Maggie Greene, retaliated by singing the super-fun ’80s throwback “Sister Christian” by Night Ranger. And for her final performance, Cohan stuck again with the ’80s, but this time she slipped into a curly wig, a black leotard, and leg-warmers for a high-kicking version of “What a Feeling” by Irene Cara. Martin-Green came back at her with a fun, bright neon scheme for her ensemble and told viewers to “Watch Me (Whip/Nae-Nae)” in an energetic performance that would definitely raise the dead. But just like in the battle between mere mortals and zombies, there can be only one survivor — and that was Martin-Green.

Lip Sync Battle airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Spike.
