‘Walking Dead’ Star Lauren Cohan Gives Stephen Colbert Zombie Advice

On The Late Show, Lauren Cohan, from The Walking Dead, took a moment backstage to give Stephen Colbert some much-needed zombie advice.

“I’ve been fighting this one zombie pretty seriously for months and he has never once tried to eat my brain or rip out my guts,” Colbert said. “I guess what I’m asking is how do you know when a zombie is into you?”

“Stephen, what zombie wouldn’t want to eat your flesh?” Cohan asked.

Colbert replied, “I am well marbled.”

“Besides, if this zombie doesn’t want to tear off your face,” Cohan continued, “you know what? There are plenty of zombies in the sea.”

“But what about my zombie?” Colbert asked. “Maybe my brain is not juicy enough for him.”

“Hey, if this zombie is too dumb to realize the delicious head meat that is right in front of him, then you don’t need him,” Cohan replied. “And, believe it or not, one day you’re going to find that special zombie who does want to feast on your organs.”

“And, when that day comes,” Colbert said. “I hope you’re right there.”

“Me, too,” Cohan replied. “So, I can shoot him in the head.”

The Late Show airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
