Josh McDermitt’s character has severely angered some die-hard “Walking Dead” fans, so much so that he’s getting real-life death threats.

McDermitt, who plays Eugene Porter on the AMC zombie drama, took to Facebook to complain about death threats, presumably from series fans unhappy with the turns that his character has taken.

In a Facebook Live Stream captured by the Twitter account TWD HQ, the actor complained of the threats, saying, “I’m just sick of it.”

“Death threats, don’t send me death threats, because I will — I’m gonna report all that sh-t to the cops. I’m just sick of it,” he continued.

“You can hate Eugene, I don’t care. I’ll argue that you’re wrong, but you can think whatever you want. But when you start saying you hope I die, I don’t know if you’re talking about Josh or Eugene,” McDermitt continued. “I gotta report that s—. So just don’t be an a–hole.”

“Let’s just stop complaining about everything on the internet. OK. Seriously,” McDermitt continued. “Go spend time with your family or friends or loved ones. Just get off the internet. Is there anything else? Other than I love you? I do. I love you guys.”

He has since scrapped his Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts, according to BBC News.

This isn’t the first time that McDermitt has complained about abusive behavior on social media. Back in December, the actor defended his costar Alanna Masterson from fat-shamers who criticized her weight after the actress gave birth to her daughter Marlowe.

“She just had a kid. That’s why she hasn’t been in the first six episodes because she was recovering from pregnancy and then people are talking trash about her appearance, and it’s like, ‘Screw you,'” McDermitt said at the time.

The actor continued, “I’m going to bully you into stop bullying. That’s what I feel like we need to do. I don’t know how this is gonna work, but we have to stop bullying each other and calling people out for their appearance.”
