‘Walking Dead’ Star Jeffrey Dean Morgan Shares Weirdly Sexual Fan Letters

(Spoiler Alert: Do not keep reading if you are not caught up on “The Walking Dead”)

“The Walking Dead’s” Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays the villainous Negan on the AMC series, and it turns out women love the bad boy.

Morgan shared details about the strange letters he gets from fans during a recent appearance on “The Howard Stern Show.”

“It’s mostly women who I get really weird fan mail from,” Morgan said. “Like, they just want to be, I don’t know, gagged and tied up and beat on a little bit.” The strange reaction from female fans is in keeping with his character on the series and the comic book character on which he is based.

In the comics, Negan is prone to taking multiple wives, with women who agree to marry him receiving special treatment over the other Saviors. In the show, we learn that Dwight (Austin Amelio) and his wife Sherry (Christine Evangelista) fled Negan’s rule, but returned out of fear.

In order to keep Negan from killing Dwight, Sherry agreed to become one of his wives. This also means Dwight can never be with her again, lest he wants to meet the same fate as Abraham and Glenn in the Season 7 finale.

Morgan also confirmed during the same interview that Negan will indeed return for the eighth season of the hit series, much to the surprise of no one.

“The Walking Dead” airs Sundays at 9 p.m./8c on AMC.
