‘Walking Dead’ Recap: A Suicide Mission to Kill Negan
On The Walking Dead, Sasha and Rosita put their differences aside, kind of, for the mission at hand: getting to the Saviors’ complex in order to take out Negan. They scavenged various cars along the way, but their best bet was a fenced-in lot with a bunch of cars … and a bunch of zombies. They lit a car on fire as a distraction and then jumped the fence and hotwired a car. Peeling out with force, they took out a zombie and a fence, and they were on their way.
Having shared a mutual now dead boyfriend, Abraham, Sasha and Rosita let bygones be bygones as they set up shop with their scope rifle in a building across from the Saviors’ complex.
The Saviors and their zombie moat seemed impenetrable. Not being able to get a clean shot off on Negan, they resorted to a riskier plan B. Heading down to the fence, they killed off two of the guards and hoped to free Eugene, but it seemed that he was one of the Saviors now. As Eugene scurried off for reinforcements, Sasha hijacked the plan, going inside the complex and locking Rosita out. She protected her new friend from a suicidal mission.
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
